Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Markdown Anything service ("Service"), operated by Climactic Infotech Private Limited ("Company", "we", "us"), a company incorporated in New Delhi, India, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Markdown Anything is a document-to-Markdown conversion API. The Service accepts uploaded documents and returns structured Markdown output via API or web dashboard. Access is governed by a credit-based billing system.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. API Usage & Rate Limits

Your use of the API is subject to the rate limits and credit allowances of your plan. You agree not to circumvent rate limits, reverse-engineer the Service, or use the API in a manner that degrades service quality for other users.

5. Billing & Payments

Credits are purchased in advance. Usage beyond your plan's included credits will be billed at the overage rate specified in your plan. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in our Refund Policy.

6. User Content

You are solely responsible for all content you upload to the Service. By uploading any document, you represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to upload and process that content, and that doing so does not infringe upon or violate the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or any other rights of any third party. We assume no liability for content uploaded by users.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the documents you upload. We retain ownership of the Service, its underlying technology, and all related intellectual property. The conversion output is yours to use without restriction.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload malicious files or content that violates applicable law
• Attempt unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure
• Resell or redistribute the Service without written permission
• Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the Service

9. Data Handling

Uploaded documents are processed for conversion and are retained in accordance with our Privacy Policy. To help us improve conversion quality, you may opt into anonymous data sampling in your account settings. This is disabled by default. When enabled, anonymized samples of your conversions may be used to improve our models. No personally identifiable information is included in sampled data.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that conversions will be error-free or that the Service will be uninterrupted.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, India.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, with or without notice. Changes take effect immediately upon posting to this page. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically. We may, but are not obligated to, notify you of changes. Continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
