File Size Limits

The maximum file size depends on your plan:

Starter	10 MB
Professional	15 MB
Business	50 MB

Files larger than your plan's limit are rejected before processing.

If your file exceeds the limit, try compressing it, splitting it into smaller parts, or upgrading your plan.

Formats That Benefit from Enhanced AI

Enhanced AI uses advanced AI models to extract content that standard parsing cannot reach. The following formats benefit most from Enhanced AI:

Scanned PDFs

PDFs created by scanning paper documents. Standard conversion sees these as images — Enhanced AI reads the text.

Images (JPG, JPEG, PNG)

Photos of documents, screenshots, receipts, whiteboards, or any image containing text.

Mixed PDFs

PDFs that combine digital text with embedded scanned pages or image-based content.

For digitally-created files (DOCX, HTML, TXT, XLSX, etc.), standard conversion produces excellent results without Enhanced AI.

Audio Conversions

Audio files (WAV, MP3, M4A) are transcribed to Markdown using speech-to-text processing. The output is a text transcription of the audio content, formatted as Markdown.

Audio transcription uses the same credit system as document conversion — 1 credit for standard, or 2-3 credits with Enhanced AI depending on your plan.

Markup Conversions

Converting .md or .markdown files may seem redundant, but it is useful for:
